   "Chumerna" hut is located on the ridge of Balkan mountains at the foot of Chumerna peak. At 35 km south of the town of Elena and 27 km north of the town of Tvarditsa. There are 75 beds in rooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds. Kitchen and dining room working on the request are available. At the hut operate a ski storage, and if you wish you can hire qualified mountain and biking guides, ski teachers and ski guides during the winter season.

   The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and ski orienteering. There is a skislopewith twolifts.

   The hut is part of the European tourist route № 3, starting from the Atlantic Ocean and ending at Cape Emine.
